Skills: Influencing
Even when you have the technology, the leadership support, the skills and data are often essential to be able to effectively influence others. As part of our commitment to supporting customers to unlock the greatest outcomes from technology and data we are delighted to bring this training session that explores the skills needed to influence others.
Many people in organisations have great ideas which fail to get off the ground because they’re unable to get buy-in from the right stakeholders. In this 30-minute skills session, you’ll learn why it’s difficult to influence others and how to get your message noticed. We’ll then explore writing a message for the recipient rather than the sender, and finish with a practical message structure which you can use for spoken and written communications as you try to influence others.

Skills: Delivering Effective Feedback
Whether you are in risk, patient safety or workforce roles we know you will often be charged with giving feedback, sometimes that is challenging and difficult feedback. How feedback is given and received impacts many of the potential outcomes from the technology we provide.
Are you one of the many people who is nervous about giving feedback to others? In this interactive 30-minute skills session, you’ll begin by learning what feedback is… and what it isn’t. We’ll then explore how to get more comfortable with feedback and the steps you can take to set yourself up to deliver feedback that hits the mark. All this leads in to two memorable and effective blueprints for delivering effective feedback: the feedback conversation map and the EAR™ feedback structure.
